Etiquette at Darenth Valley Golf Course

In the interests of safety and enjoyment please respect other users of the Darenth Valley Golf Course and please abide by the following rules:

 

• Players should be of a reasonable standard of golf and be aware of the rules of the game.
• Players should play without delay
• Do not play until the players in front are out of range
• players searching for a ball should signal the players behind to pass through if it is apparent the ball will not easily be found, they should not search for five minutes before doing so.  If in doubt, play a provisional ball

 

Care of the Course

 

1. Rake bunkers
2. Replace all divots
3. Repair pitch marks on greens
4. Buggies must be kept off the greens and tees
5. Please obey all direction signs to prevent damage to the course
6. Each player must have a golf bag containing at least five clubs
7. Players should give way to greenkeepers
8. Players are responsible for their own insurance.  Incidents or accidents involving other players must be remedied between the parties.  Loss of or damage to vehicles or equipment is the responsibility of the individual and cannot be claimed from Darenth Valley Golf Course.
